SPECIFIC REQUIREMENTS
  • Foreign Passport Holder who is in India on a Business/Tourist/Visit visa is required to obtain the Recommendation Letter from his/her Native Country Embassy in Delhi, in order to apply for Chinese Visa. The Foreign applicants having Work / Residence Permit OR the OCI card holders are exempted from this requirement.
BASIC REQUIREMENTS
  • Valid Passport with at least 6 months validity from the date of travel. The passport should also have a minimum of two blank visa pages.
  • 1 Application Form to be TYPED ONLY
  • 1 Recent photograph (size of 33-48 mm, white background with 80% face coverage) for further clarity please click Photo Specification.
  • Covering letter on company’s letterhead mentioning Applicant Name, Passport Number Designation with entry and exit date in China.
  • INVITATION from Chinese Company / Invitee mentioning the name and passport number of the applicant, with signatures of Authorised Signatory and Company Seal.
  • Return Confirmed Ticket.
  • Passport copy of the front page and last page.Note:- Covering letter and invitation should be addressed to The Visa Officer, Chinese Embassy OR Embassy of China, New Delhi.

FAQ

Do I need a visa to visit China’s mainland?

          Foreign national’sgenerally need a visa to visit mainland of china with the exception of visa-free entry according to relevant agreements and regulations. (See Exemption of visa for more information.)

Can I apply for a visa by mail? Could you mail the passport with visa back to me?

No. Visa given by embassy is a stamped visa so we require original passport in office.

How long does it to process my application? What is the right time to submit my visa application?

                  Normally it takes 4 business days or working days  to process a visa application although some applications require longer                                      processing time where as express category takes 2 working days . You will be told of the collection date either by mail or by phone . You are advised to submit your visa application one month before from the date of travel.

Do you provide express visa service?

                  Yes. Express service is available for an additional fee. You need to make such request to our staff while submitting your application. All the receipts of express entry are provided to you for your satisfaction .

What is validity  of China visa ?

               It depends on which type of entry and duration of stay, you have ticked in the form, Normally for single entry visa validity is of  90 days and duration of stay is 30 days .

I am a U.S. citizen; can I apply for a Chinese visa at the port of entry?

U.S. citizens must obtain a visa from nearby Chinese embassy before arrival in China. You are not eligible for a landing visa.

                                                           I have received my visa, but there will be a change in my trip plan. Do I need to apply for a change of the visa type or validity?

               Once your visa application is processed and approved, you will not be able to change a visa type or validity .You has to apply for a new visa. In case if the changes are taking place in your travel after entry in the mainland of china then, you should apply to the local Public Security authority stating the reason of change in your travel . Your application will be considered by the Public Security authority in accordance with relevant Chinese Laws and Regulations.

I get a new passport, but I have a valid Chinese visa in my old passport. Can I travel with both passports to China without applying for a new visa?

                  Yes, you have to  travel with both the passports provided that your visa is still valid and personal details on both the passport s including your name, sex, date of birth and nationality are exactly the same.
